Harbor patrolmen Harold Dahl and Fred Crisman near Maury Island in Puget Sound, Washington, reported six donut-shaped objects hovering; one allegedly dropped metallic debris that damaged a boat and injured a child. One of the earliest post-Kenneth Arnold cases with physical claims.
Later, a mysterious man in a dark suit allegedly visited Dahl, warned him to keep quiet about what he saw, and threatened his family. This incident is considered the origin story for The Men In Black films.
