What is actually new this week

1. Lawmaker-requested video dump (today / Aug 29)
NewsNation is reporting the Pentagon released more than 40 UAP videos requested by lawmakers, most not previously public. Two clips being highlighted:

• a UAP after the Chinese spy balloon was shot down over Lake Huron
• a UAP in footage while the U.S. was monitoring a foreign submarine

This looks like the congressional demand set, not a numbered PURSUE “Release 06.”

2. No PURSUE Release 06 yet
Release 5 (Aug 7) is still the last official tranche at war.gov. Trackers expect a possible ~Sept 4 drop if the four-week rhythm holds. It is not confirmed.

3. Nuclear-plant flyovers
Former NRC security specialist Daryl Johnson told Ross Coulthart there were nearly 300 drone/UAP flyover reports at U.S. commercial reactors from 2014–2025, with almost none identified to an operator. That is his testimony, not a published NRC dataset.

4. UK / Five Eyes paper trail
Clive Lewis MP discussed UK UAP policy and Five Eyes with the Sol Foundation. Scotland released FOI correspondence showing who handles UAP inquiries — administrative, not a secret program.

5. Science Advisory Council constraint paper
Haqq-Misra and Kopparapu analyzed 112 PURSUE videos and said almost none have the range + platform-motion data needed to prove anomalous speed. Apparent speed across a frame is not physical velocity.

6. Warp-drive / orb physics pieces
The Debrief covered new work linking warp-drive signatures to some Pentagon orb reports — the same Avi Loeb / Shaun Fell lane already reviewed here.

7. Culture, not evidence
The Debrief also ran a Gen Z / UFO-media belief survey (Aug 29). TIME’s earlier “America is taking ETs seriously” piece is still being recirculated. That is mood, not data.

Still hanging from July–early August (not new, still active)

• House adopted Burlison’s UAP Disclosure Act amendment in the FY2027 NDAA; Senate has not finished it.

Face Value on the whole current picture

What is real

• The government is still releasing objects, not operators.
• Orbs and triangles are being separated in the official footage (Release 5 made that obvious).
• Military and federal witnesses keep reporting coordinated, cold, reactive objects.
• Nuclear sites and coastal Navy operating areas remain clustering points.
• Congress is trying to lock a records-and-review law around PURSUE so it cannot be walked back.
• The official science voice (Loeb / SAC / Haqq-Misra–Kopparapu) is narrowing public claims: drones, missing range data, maybe exotic physics — not agency, not abduction, not threat doctrine.

What is being managed

• Volume of video is going up. Quality of metadata is not.
• “Unresolved” is being used as both honesty and a holding pattern.
• Human-effects / abduction / infiltration stays off the official table even while Dolan/Jacobs language is circulating in the independent lane.
• Loeb’s exclusory orb frame (drones + leftover physics) is still the approved public science story.

What has not happened

• No new PURSUE tranche since Aug 7.
• No official admission of NHI.
• No public materials, biologics, or crash-retrieval file that survives AARO’s “no verifiable ET evidence” line.
• No civilian-protection policy.

Probable near-term

• Release 06, if it comes on the four-week beat, is the next hard data point. Watch whether craft/triangles increase and orbs decrease, as you flagged after Release 5.
• The lawmaker video set out today should be treated as a parallel dump, then compared case-by-case to PURSUE so the same clips are not counted twice.
• Nuclear-flyover testimony will stay in the “security problem” bucket unless NRC publishes the underlying log.
