Richard Dolan Publicly Endorses David Jacobs’ Infiltration Conclusion Major UAP historian says the “planetary takeover” assessment must be taken seriously
August 17, 2026
In a direct public statement released this week, longtime UFO historian Richard Dolan has endorsed one of the most controversial conclusions in abduction research.
Speaking in a Facebook reel, Dolan said:
“My colleague David Jacobs spent decades studying abduction testimony and reached a conclusion he believed was unavoidable: at least one group of non-human intelligences has been engaged in a covert infiltration of human society, with the ultimate goal of planetary takeover. I take his work seriously. You should too.”
The statement is notable for both its clarity and its source.
David Jacobs, a former Temple University historian, spent more than four decades collecting and analyzing abduction accounts, primarily through hypnotic regression. In books including The Threat (1998) and later works, Jacobs argued that the data pointed to a systematic, multi-generational program involving hybridization and the gradual integration of non-human or hybrid beings into human society. He described the ultimate objective as a form of quiet takeover rather than open conquest.
Dolan has discussed Jacobs’ research before, but the new formulation is unusually blunt. By calling the conclusion “unavoidable” in Jacobs’ view and stating that he himself takes the work seriously, Dolan is placing his own professional reputation behind the infiltration thesis at a time when official UAP disclosures remain tightly focused on craft and sensor data.
Why the Statement Matters Now
The timing is significant. The U.S. government’s PURSUE releases have steadily increased the volume of military and intelligence documentation on unidentified objects—orbs, triangles, spheres, and other craft—while remaining almost entirely silent on the question of operators, biological entities, or long-term agendas.
Dolan’s intervention reintroduces the human-effects and intentionality dimension that official releases have so far avoided. It signals that, in the judgment of one of the field’s most careful historians, the craft data alone is incomplete.
The statement does not claim new primary evidence. It affirms an existing body of research and urges the public to treat its central conclusion as serious rather than fringe.
Face Value Assessment
At face value, the record now includes an explicit public endorsement by Richard Dolan of David Jacobs’ core finding: that at least one non-human intelligence has been conducting a covert infiltration of human society with the goal of eventual control of the planet.
Whether that conclusion is ultimately correct remains a matter of evidence and interpretation. What is no longer in dispute is that a leading UAP historian has chosen this moment to say the assessment must be taken seriously.
