my brother and I were sitting on the front porch, just shooting the breeze when we saw what we thought was a shooting star . The light came down on about a 45 degree angle, stopped at the top of the peak of a mountain near our house hesitated a split second,darted across the tops of the mountains,I would guess about 15 miles, stopped for another second and shot straight up out of sight. All this took about 3 to 4 seconds, we just sat and looked at each other and spent the next few hours talking about what it might have been
