What I’m describing took place in the mid 1960’s or a little after that. These are the events that I remember, as time may have clouded out other information, this is what happened to my cousins, friends and myself all in the town of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania as I can remember. I use lived in the town were the movie Ground Hog day was filmed. In fact, as a kid, I use to play in the same park where they filmed the movie.
As kids aged 8-14, growing up in that time frame and area, we spent a lot of time out doors. In fact, we were outdoors crazy. Hiking, camping, hunting, and playing were our normal activities. We were very much in tune with our surroundings.
One day, while out hiking in our little group, we were returning from a long hike and about a mile from home. We noticed in the sky 3 black, dark looking clouds. These clouds did not look normal to us and in fact, bothered us. The sky was clear, except for these three black clouds about a quarter of a mile away, or at least they looked like clouds from our vantage point. They moved in a very odd way, not really floating it seemed, like they were looking for something in unison, sort of back and forth. In only a few moments after observing them, we ‘felt’ like we were being watched. It bothered everyone in the group to the point that we got scared and ran into an old concrete, abandoned building nearby.
We never left that place for a long ! time, fearing something was out there observing us. We ran home sometime later. Those clouds were very strange, in that it was very windy out and they just did not move like normal clouds would, but stayed in a certain area in the sky. The only thing around there was a gravel pit, old coke mining ovens and a nearby military school/base.
All of us lived near this military base/school. Soldiers marched around and sometimes they held live Howitzer cannon firing exercises. There were, it seemed like UFO reports in the news daily back then. One night, I was sitting outside on a very hot night. It was clear out with stars visible. I sat for some time and started getting that feeling I was being watched, again. This time I looked up and saw three lights rotating in unison and in different colors, red, blue, and white directly above me. About as half the height that airplanes traveled, but these lights, never moved, just rotated around. I became nervous and went inside and hid.
On another night, one of my cousin’s and I decided to camp out in the field behind his house. Again, later that night, we felt we were being watched and became very nervous and decided to go to the porch and try to sleep. Within a few minutes after settling down on the porch a very bright light was noticed at the edge of the roof over the po! rch. We ran into the house. The dog was barking like crazy, his sister wanted to know where the bright light was coming from as it penetrated everywhere it seemed. We heard a scraping sound outside, like something had scratched the side of the house. After that we don’t remember much of what happened. The next day, we remembered only the noise against the house and there was a huge, long scratch along the side of the house.
On another occasion, my cousin was playing baseball in that same field behind his house. He said a saucer type craft came over the hill behind his house and toward the field that he and some other kids were playing in. It did not stay long though. Over the years, I have had very strange things happen to me with things like ESP events, involving my father’s passing away, another was a car crash I was involved with and more, much more. Also, there was a feeling of being observed or followed for years thereafter.
I also know many people who have seen or know people who have encountered crafts and beings. It was like it was meant to be that I meet these people for some reason. It was very odd how all of it came about. There is more to all of this than can be wrote here.
