North AtlanticOcean - Unknown

unidentified radar contact over Atlantic Ocean

I was witness to a radar watch on a United States ship( a radar picket ship on the DEW line, which shall remain un-named)about 1959, killing time in CIC due to insomnia, when the watch reported a blip at 000 degrees.

They followed the blip travel a route of 180 degrees, noting the estimated speed was about 20,000 mph. When they reported this to the watch officer, he said to NOT report it, they would think we were loonies.

Several of my shipmates have since discussed this incident, and we all agree we witnessed something surreal that night.

I, myself, am thoroughly convinced it was a UFO. No one will ever convince me otherwise.
