Bright object moving across the sky then stopping and going back the way it came.
July 14 1963 2130 hours It was a warm summer night. My buddy and I were laying on the hill next to my house looking at the stars in a clear dark sky.
We were just laying there taking in the awe of such a beautiful night when I spotted a light moving from North to South across the sky. I pointed out to my buddy saying “Hey look it's a satellite!” We were watching it for a few seconds when it just stopped. I asked him if he still saw it and he said yes. All of sudden it started going back to North! We both got excited and said in unison “It's a UFO!” It wasn't long after that it just disappeared....
Not much of a story but I still remember it like it was yesterday..
