A light or object moving the stars out of an area to create a hole in the sky for possible vision from beyond?
To whom it may concern.
As older teenage kids we used to camp at a sight in the Angeles Mountain, specifically the area above Azusa canyon but below Crystal Lake. There were three of us camping under the star lit sky.
As we were laying in our sleeping bags we were, of course, looking up at the sky, watching the stars and just talking about the day we had hiking and wading in the surrounding streams. This was in the summer, July or August of 1967 or 1968.
The reason I am writing you is about an event we all saw but have yet heard anything about in the news, UFO stories on the History Channel or any other media.
As we were watching the stars, my brother first noticed the peculiar event. There was a bright light that appeared to have a body to it but it was in the area of the stars so it was too far away to tell exactly. We did not have binoculars or a telescope but could see it plainly with our regular eye vision. The light or object, as it was, was moving in direct lines at no particular pattern knocking the stars that we could see, away from the center area to form a big hole in the star pattern. We watched, amazed, for about 30 to 40 minutes as this object cleared the area.
We still talk about it to this day among ourselves and have, to many other people throughout the years, and nobody has ever heard of the incident.
I am 60 years old now and to this day I still do not know what it might have been.
I am, basically, just looking for a possible answer to ease my mind and that of my brother and my high school friend.
Has there been anyone else that has reported this incident?? I am just real curious. Please let me know.
