My father and I saw a huge saucer shaped craft hovering over our front yard, then move away over the treeline.
It was a summer night around 10:00 pm. I was twirling my baton in my front yard with the porch lights on. When I looked up, there was a large silver saucer-shaped object with lights around the edges hovering over and behind me a little.
I was excited but not scared, and I yelled to my parents to come outside, but they didn’t hear me. I quickly ran into the house and yelled for them to come outside. My dad came. As we stepped outside, the craft was moving away. We were able to watch it move over the trees for a few minutes until it went out of sight.
We went inside and called the city to report it and they said they had had other similar calls that evening.
They thought that our porch lights were glinting off of my baton and that may have attracted the attention of the craft.
