Craft was low to the ground, and stopped at witnesses.
1966 Auburn California. My mother, father, my fathers 2 brothers, and my fathers mother were in there living room, and heard a low hum, and they all went outside, and this craft was very slowly hovering and moving approximately 300 feet above the house, and it moved down toward them,hovered closer to them after they were in the yard, and stopped for about 10 seconds, and a car came up and over the bend in the road and the headlights shone on the craft, and the craft swooshed away with no sound, away from them and into the nearby field, stopped, and then swooshed a 90 degree turn to the left, and off quickly through the field and out of sight. The car that came over the bend in the road did not stop, but slowed, and my family never spoke to the occupants in the car.
My fathers brother at the time was a civilian worker at McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento California, and he called them and he was told there was no activity in the area and no other reports phoned in, and he was told the same thing the following day.
3 days later, my fathers younger adult brother was awoken by a low hum, and looked out his bedroom window, and saw the same craft hovering in the trees near the house about 100 feet away and a little above the height of the house. He watched it for 10 minutes, and it just stayed in that one spot, and then it flew off rapidly straight up, and the craft was never seen again.
This is almost word for word of what all the witnesses in my family have told me for the last 30 years. One day ago, I asked again, and the same incident was told except for my grandma, she passed away 14 years ago, and my fathers older brother is dying of cancer and he gave his account to me on August 22, 2013.
I'm a coast fan and I have heard you on Noory show and I have been as detailed as I have heard you say on the show. My parents are very private people, and they do not know if they will speak to you about this.
I sent my mother over 50 pictures of UFOs from the web and she picked one out that she said was 95 percent certain was just like the craft they saw that night.
