Blimp shaped ufo with loss of time.

This has been a family secret for decades. I was not born at the time, but have been told by my Sisters and Father about the event. My Father has told us not to tell ANYONE including family about what happened. He feared people would think we were crazy. My wife only found out after five years of being married.

This is how the events of the story were told to me. Mostly by my sisters as my Father rarely talks of it still. It was an August night, and my father (31 yrs old) and sisters (11 and 9 yrs old) were returning from Abilene after visiting my Uncle. They had stopped first at the Tasty Freeze for ice cream for the trip back to Salina. While traveling west on highway 40 my father noticed what he described as a blimp hoovering over the tree line. The object was barely visible (no lights) in the fading light of the evening. My father and sisters wanted to go see it, so they turned off the highway onto a dirt road. They assumed it WAS a blimp, and wanted to see it up close. This is were the stories are told differently by each, but all tie together. This is what my younger sister says happened. She says that they were getting close to the object, and the next thing she remembers is my Dad driving like crazy down the road yelling, "Where is it! Where the f@#% is it!". She said that her ice cream was completely melted, and the radio was real loud and all static. She said she cried all the way home, because we never see our Dad scared.

My oldest sister was looking out the window, and also crying and screaming where is it. My younger sister doesn't remember any beings are any other details about the ship. She only experienced the lose of time. This is where my younger and older sisters stories differ. My oldest sister says that they or she because she didn't see or hear my father and sister were taking on board or somewhere. She said it was like a blink of an eye ,and then she was on a table with bluish light all around. She says that she saw no one but felt them in the room. The ne xt thing that happened she doesn't talk about to detailed, but says she felt extreme pain all over her body. She says it felt like she was burning up inside, and that it went on for a long time. And that it happened in sections at a time. Then she said it was FLASH back in the car hauling ass. Now my father won't say if anything happened to him, but says they saw SOMETHING. Both of my sisters said when they got home my Dad talked to my Mom in private. Then they slept for the next week in my parents room, while my Father sat in the chair with a pistol on his lap and a shotgun next to him. They said they could see him at night get up and keep looking out the windows with the pistol in his hand. I was born 4 years later.

Recently i have been experiencing the Old Hag Syndrome. I feel like someone is in the room with me, and is very scary. My oldest sister is very freaked about this, and I told my Dad and I could see him look worried. This is why I decided to tell someone about what happened to them.
