Heard an animal howl, went out front door to investigate. Heard a loud mechanical buzz then saw lights.
Mechanical buzz sound was heard. An undulating red and orange trailing "light" that resembled movement distortion of headlights moved across eastern horizon in northerly direction and disappeared. A red light could then be seen on in the distant Florida Mountains to the east.
