2 seconds light, 5000-ish ft high, traveling east to west. Could not hear engine or nothing, absolute silence.
8:32pm saw a light shoot across the sky. Came East and headed west. Looked much closer than aircraft would fly (guess 7,000ft. Give it take 2,000). A light came on for a few seconds, I thought it couldve been a shooting star but when looking at it it was much brighter and closer. It had that yellowish color like a halogen light would have. Only saw one light. Light was in for a few seconds and turned off. I kept looking to see if it would flash or come back on, but waiting 10 seconds I didn't see any come back on and knew it would have been out of eyesight after that. My first instinct was aircraft when I saw it, but to close to be commercial and two fast to be a private aircraft. I thought with how close it was I'd hear an engine or something, but it was dead silent. Standing outside for 5 mins for anything else, but did not hear or see anything more.
