2022-10-24 - Leamington Spa - Fireball

Orange fireball travelling from South to North at speed, no sound

Whilst watching the dog in the back garden, I noticed a round bright orange fireball object coming towards me from the south, it went straight over head travelling in a northerly direction. The fireball looked high in the sky and was travelling at speed in a straight line, there was no sound. It was travelling considerably faster than any commercial aircraft that regularly fly over. The fireball was visible for approx a minute (maybe less) and stayed visible way into the distance until it eventually went out of sight. I initially though it could be a high altitude aircraft with its afterburners on, however the fireball shape and size stayed consistent when viewed coming towards me, going over head and when travelling away from me.

I'm a 60 year old professional guy with good vision, who would not normally be spooked...
