An object that looked similar to a star, in the NW sky, was "shooting" gold/white "things" upward (straight up) at regular intervals
My husband and I were walking our dogs before bed, and walked to the end of our driveway to look at the big dipper. My husband asked me "did you just see that shooting star?" I said no. A few seconds later, he said "there is another one!" I was looking for a big sweeping light to come across the sky, but then I looked to where he was pointing. There was an object that could have been a star, (same brightness, etc) that was "shooting" bright gold/white things straight up at regular intervals..I would say 3-5 seconds between. We watched for about a minute, and then the "shooting" stopped.
The thing that was the origination of the "shots" then moved extremely quickly left, stopped, moved very quickly left again, and then disappeared.
