White object moving north to south across the sky, no sound, no condensation trail.
The object was moving north to south at 7:17pm. I looked up flight data and didn't see any aircraft traveling in this direction. It was moving rather fast and went all the way across the sky. No condensation trail and no sound at all. I didn't see any wings. It appeared to be pretty high up and must have covered 20 miles in 30 seconds. Note - there is a dragon fly in the image as well, about 30 ft above me off to the left.
I've been trying to look up most evenings and I've never seen anything odd. I have spa and will star gaze from time to time in the evening. I can see satellites from time to time, but those appear much smaller and moving slower. Look more like a slow moving star. This was nothing like that and still very sunny outside.
My wife and I enjoy sitting outside in the evening in our backyard. I notice a number of planes regularly. Most are traveling west to east from the bay area and are very easy to make out. We see helicopters from time to time as well. All of those are very clear and obvious. If this was a drone, it appeared to be very high in the sky and came from at least Lodi and disappeared well south of here past Lathrop, Ca. Looking up flights during that time, nothing was in the area moving in that direction.
