Was talking with my moms bf, when I looked above and saw a metallic shape, but shortly after it left a trail of light and vanished.
Seen at right around 10 pm eastern time.
There was a small metallic shape (it’s dark but looked to be a different size when it started to move) about the size of a small vehicle. It was pretty high it the air but not as high as I’ve seen the airplane and jets fly near the airport where I live. The runway at the airport nearby faces northeast at around 50 degrees. When the object started to move, it gave off this streak of bright light that was tinted blue and white. After flying about a couple hundred feet with the streak following the object and the streak of light both disappeared. The area that this object flew towards was the east at about 87-90 degrees.
