A sphere enters the screen from the top, seems to enlarge slightly, then splits into two spheres which exit the screen from the top
A sphere enters the screen of an infrared camera from the top. It appears to enlarge slightly, then it splits into two spheres which both exit the screen from the top. I couldn's stop the motion at the moment of separation so the stills don't do it justice. This splitting behaviour has been observed and photographed a number of times. It may be the reason that there seems to be so many of them. My impression is that they do general surveillance.
