First spotted, east going west, slowed over Patrick SB, then turned north. Watched until it slowly became too small to see.
January 9, 2022, at about 9:50 pm, we saw a large orange ball fly in from the southeast over the Atlantic, in from over the ocean at fairly good clip and as It came over shore, above Patrick Space Force Base it slowed and slowly changed course to a more due northern route. It continued north until I couldn't see it any longer.
There was no sound, it flew a direct course, northwest. It didn't flash, just a constant large orange and it was much larger than a light on an airplane or a jet. It was round and it was a ball. It wasn't search light. We could see it from when it first appeared, out over the ocean to when it disappeared about 10 minutes going north.
