Two bright star like objects wink out over Los Angeles.
Two white star like objects high in the night sky to the North-North-East. These two objects were stationary and about 1 arc degree apart from each other (about the width of your index finger if you hold your hand out as far as you can), the top one being as bright as Jupiter in magnitude and the bottom one being only slightly dimmer. I knew they were not stars as I am familiar with the night sky and thought maybe they were high flying stationary helicopters as they can sometimes look like a single white light until they move, however, instead of moving, they simply winked out. I knew they weren’t satellites because satellites move should they catch the sun’s rays in low earth orbit just after dark. As I was fishing for my phone to take a photo is when I watched them wink out. The bottom one winked out half a second before the top one. I checked the news and Google today for any sightings or explanations, maybe SpaceX? But nothing. Very odd indeed.
