Rapid object with red lights hovered at high altitude over Chicago.
As a normal airplane passed by my window, I noticed there was something else hovering in the sky. It seemwd much higher up than the plane. I couldn't see the body of the vehicle. I only saw two red lights hovering at very high altitude. It would appear to hover in one place for 10 or more seconds at a time. Then it would move laterally very smoothly and very quickly,before pausing again and staying in one place.
After it did this a few times, it turned on a bright white light, and repeated similar movements. Then it turned the white light off and the two red lights returned.This cycle repeated, with the object moving east and west a few times, and also north and south. After watching it for about 3 minutes, the object with its two red lights, seemed to descend somewhere directly to the north.
