Live near Cupertino foothills, south of San Francisco, east of San Jose. The 2 main flight patterns out of sfo are heading south, higher altitude (15-20000ft?), and the approaching about 6,000ft. I saw a plane heading south, white and red lights. But I saw what seemed higher, a bright light, about size of typical satellite, but I know satellite speeds and this was slower, and a bit brighter, as I watched I tried to video with my iPhone, and as it headed south, it’s speed slowed, as well it dimmed for a few seconds, but then brightened back up but it was barely moving, after about minute and half it faded but I could still barely make then it finally disappeared.
