In Keosauqua Iowa on 8/12/2020 around 10:30pm, my boyfriend and I were outside standing near the Des Moines River trying to observe the Moon however there were a lot of clouds that obstructed our view.
I noticed looking in a North Eastern Direction in the sky beneath the clouds, approximately one mile away from where we were we saw 6-8 fire balls that were slowly moving toward each other and formed into three dimensional looking diamond before it disappeared behind the Treeline. They were visible for approximately 5 minutes.
We were you able to snap a photo of it, and after cleaning up the image the fireball actually looks like a Cube with round globular light inside of it. This must have been what they all look like up close. The rest of the night I had this sensation of unease, fear and that we were not alone- when we absolutely were.
