Four of us sitting in the backyard looking up at the stars. One of us was not looking up. An extremely fast moving white light shot across the sky moving from the north to the south and seemed to stop almost right over us. It was a very small white light almost thought to be a star, or satellite but moving way too fast. It stopped for a moment and then it went up into the sky, meaning it vanished but in an upward direction, not left or right or any direction, it went up.
I immediately said to my husband and our friend "did you guys see that or am I seeing things?" and at the same time I said that, our friend said "what the heck was that?!" because both he and my husband had seen the same thing I just witnessed.
When we came into the house, the ceiling light in my son's room was on. This is odd as we had turned it off when he fell asleep. This has been happening lately so could be unrelated.
