It was a still, partly cloudy day. While looking at the beautiful sky I spotted 1 object in the N-NE sky in a section of sky without any clouds. It was too far to distinguish the shape. Closest would be either a disk or saucer. It was white or silver, no sound. I watched it travel a short distance to the SE, then reverse right back to the NE, then reversed again to the SE, then suddenly, simply disappeared. It did not race off. It was there one second...and poof...gone the next. I waited...but it never returned.
