8 lights traveling high speed over Palm Springs, Ca less then a one minute across the sky all in formation
I saw approximately 8 lights, in a straight formation, heading northeast, about 30 degrees, it took them less then a minute to go across the night sky. No exhaust or trail behind them. There could have been more lights, but I just happened to look when I took my dogs out.
