Two bright yellow-orange soundless orbs seen at night.
6/24/19 (sic. 06/25/2019 ??) 12:35 a.m. New Harbor, Maine 129 Snowball Hill I was going to bed and looked out the front door as I locked it to see two beach ball sized white opaque lights across the street (small two lane tarred road). They were approximately 100 yards away and were both about six-eight feet off the grassy ground. Both moved slowly back and forth in tandem at times and over a distance in length of about 100 feet.
Background to the grassy area was a line of alder and other shrubs about varying in height from four to seven feet and behind that stood the trees, both deciduous and evergreens varying in height from 50 to 60+ feet.
These orbs omitted no sounds or flashes of light or beams of concentrated light. No other ambient light was present (there are no street lights nor were any porch lights on in the two houses that framed each side of the area in question). The moon phase was waning gibbous.
I was alone in the house and did not think to take a picture or video. I was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The sighting lasted about one-two minutes and then, as if a curtain dropped in front of these lights, they were gone.
6/25/19 01:30 a.m. New Harbor, Maine 129 Snowball Hill I went to bed at about 12:30 a.m. and fell fast asleep. The window shades were down on the two windows that faced the road (Snowball Hill). I was awakened at 01:30 a.m. by a VERY bright yellow-orange light coming in between the edge of the shade and the window frame. It was as if it was daylight but the wrong color.
I got out of bed and looked out to see two large round orange lights sitting on top of the tallest tree in the yard (about 70 feet tall) which was about 40 feet from the house. One light was slightly smaller (1-1.5 feet in diameter) than the other one (2-2.5 feet in diameter). The larger one had a swirling center like the sun has and they just lit up the entire yard. They did not move and were very close to each other but not touching.
I watched them for about two minutes before they moved away higher toward the sky and then were gone instantaneously without a trail of light. Like a space ship in a science fiction movie when they go to warp is the best way to describe their exit.
They, like the white orbs of the night before, were without sound.
The moon was in the same phase – waning gibbous.
