I thought it was the moon rising across Lake Christopher, but it was so late. It is usually high in the sky when I go to bed and there was a brilliant beam reflected on the water. Then there was a shooting star near it. I then saw what looked like a glowing white gold curve sword rise up. Amazing site.
A dark black cloud passed in front of it, but the beam on the lake was still reflected. Once the clouds passed, the sword shaped object sank down behind the mountains and everything was black. Then there was another brighter shooting star and blackness.
No moon visible that nite, or a.m. I checked moon rising charts and it wasn't at the time of what I witnessed. The nite sky had many stars that nite. V
