What appeared at first to be a shooting star, kept on going straight across the morning sky without a sound or change in brightness.
Above the Sandia Mountains low and east in the sky, I saw what appeared to be a shooting star traveling south to north. But it didn’t change brightness, or size; nor did it arc. It was moving fast, much faster than a satellite, and had the brightness of a planet. It made no sound.
