Ok... I know anyone who reads this is going to think we must be off our rocker.... BUT.... traveling westbound on Ford Rd towards I275 last night at 2:27 am after late night bingo we saw what was a type of aircraft flying extremely low for a plane. It rotated on the "Y-axis" so that it was pointing south down 275 the same direction we were heading and while we were getting onto the expressway letting us both get a good visual to shape, color, and some distinguishing lights. It was a larger, black triangular shape with a series of lights underneath, but even more so, the three rectangular lights it had on the top back portion when it rotated/slightly banked 2 more times. Do we have military aircraft that looks like this? We’re talking 2:27 in the morning with hardly any other planes in the sky as well as flying extremely low. We managed to pace with it for some time before the wall on I275 blocked our view.
I estimate the sides of the craft to be about 250-300' long and probably about 20-40' high - it looked the size of a large box store up in the sky. The outside or "skin" looked to be absorbing the street lights off of Ford road as they reflected off the street and illuminate the bottom and edges of the craft but the light looked to be absorbed which provided a strange visual of the light moving along the "skin" kind of like when you heat up a piece of metal and at the part of the metal that is being directly heated being a darker color and then as you move away from the flame location the color changes - almost like a mirage or it was absorbing the light shining on it.
The craft made zero noise or sound.
As we cleared the sound retention wall on S 275 we expected to see this huge craft parallel to us but it simply vanished.
