Witnessed whitish "tic tac" shaped craft hovering above tree tops for approximately 5 minutes. Made no noise at all.

Then changed color to bluish glow, rotated and accelerated up and to the south at incredible speed. Literally disappeared in about 2 seconds. Several sonic booms were heard as it left. Neighbors' dogs were barking. Our pet cat was visibly upset.
