My fiancé and I were driving on the main road in Stafford (rt 190 before the school and fire station, heading toward the center of town) and in the distance saw a red light that looked like a bright red star. As we kept driving it got bigger and looked like a glowing fireball-too low to be an airplane and was slowly moving in the opposite direction.
As we got under it, it appeared to have a glowing pale light underneath but was still a bright red all around and looked round like a ball or slightly oblong and kept slowly moving as we drove the opposite way under it.
My fiancé was driving too fast and the road was busy so we didn't get a chance to turn around before we couldn't see it anymore. Maybe someone else saw it too because a lot of people were driving at this time.
