AS I was driving to work in the morning, I noticed a very bright object in the sky. It looked similar as a star, but it glowed brighter and brighter in the sky. I pulled over to the side of the road to study it--because it was brighter than Venus was at the time in the sky - and tried to load an app on my phone to identify the object.
At this point, it got brighter and brighter and then turned from a glowing white-ish yellow to a orange orb. It got quite large-at least 4x the size of Venus in the sky and then quickly faded, until I could not see it anymore.
I have searched the databases for any meteors or other events but could find none.
This event actually repeated the following morning, 6/30.
