West bound I-44 flatbed, hauling typical disk shaped saucer
I was traveling east bound, I-44,12:15 AM,3-16-2017,near Springfield, Mo. Noticed west bound flatbed, with dropdeck, being escorted by 8 vehicles.4 in front ,4 in rear. They were traveling approximately 60 mph.
On the flatbed was a silvery colored disk. typical saucer shape. 12 ft in height, 35 ft in diameter. Looked like they took up the entire west bound lanes. Escorts were running both lanes. West bound traffic was about 1/4 mile behind escorts. Weather was 40 degrees, clear.
