Bright stationary ball of light SE of Holland took off very fast towards the horizon SW of Holland.
While driving south on 196, towards Holland, I saw what looked to be a bright star in the south-eastern sky. It got brighter and brighter then took off at a very fast speed towards the horizon with a tail of light. The whole thing happened in seconds.
