In the western sky.There was a cloud bank that was approaching fast. Above the cloud mass was a huge light. The light reflected off the cloud edges.
I have seen approaching jets/airplanes with approach lights. There was a single light.
The light suddenly went out. The cloud passed overhead. I saw no contrails .
This light and cloud came from over La Veta Pass so it was very high in the sky.
