V shape, 7 red lights moving extremely fast from N to S. It didn't make noise, but then again it looked like it was about 60000 ft up.
Stepped outside my friend's apartment and saw a v-shaped arrangement of 7 reddish lights moving directly overhead from North to South at a very high speed. I'm no expert, but my guess was it was travelling at least Mach 3 or 4. It crossed the sky in about 5 seconds. Much faster than a commercial aircraft. No sound.
