Reddish orange and whitish fireballs
We were camping at Sawmill Flats, a campground near Cliffdell WA. We were in our motorhome about 8:30pm at dusk.
About 100 meters across the Naches River, a red fireball appeared. My wife went to bed thinking it was probably a campfire. I was laying down in the center bed watching out of the window. Then I noticed the glowing reddish orange ball hovering along the road across the river moving slowly.
I thought it was an emergency vehicle. Then, it went to the upper tree line in seconds. Moved left, then right, then East maybe a mile (I could still see it).
It then returned across from our camp and split into 2 flaming red balls. Then a white ball appeared. It was a little smaller than the reddish ones. It emitted a blue beam and was moving all over the place.
I watched it for approximately 1 hour. Then it went up into the sky to where I couldn't see it anymore - it was making a whirring sound.
The original ball was approximately 24 inches in diameter, when it split into two, they were both approximately 24 inches in diameter too. The smaller orb was a little smaller.
