My stepfather saw them first as he was driving home, he called my mother and I out once he drove up and toward the south west from our house there were 3 red/orange lights flying southward in single file.
After a few seconds, the one in the front disappeared then the next one and finally the last.
That's it.
I don't know if this means anything but I've noticed an increase in airplane traffic in my area, I've lived here 7 years, and its never been the way it is now.
