Bright ball coming from large star.
On January 27, 2016, at around 6:00p.m., my brother-in-law called me and told me to look toward the East for a bright star that was twinkling a lot. I walked outside, looked to the East and saw a large, bright star changing from white to blue to red.
My brother-in-law said he thought he saw what were spotlights coming off of it for a brief moment. Then I saw a bright ball, smaller than the star, shoot away from it, change directions and then the bright ball was gone.
I kept going outside all night to look at it and never saw anything else coming from the “star.”
