Bright Light followed by pulsating red glow
At approximately 3:00 am we were awaken by a very bright flash in the sky and bang ... When we looked out the window we could see a pulsing red glow on the south east side of canal lake to what would be the Hwy 48 and Bolsover road area. The glow continued and pulsed for approximately 10-15 min then stopped. The power had gone on and off... I went to the balcony and could hear a pulsating sound in the distance... It had looked like something was on fire in the distance... We assumed it was possibly a pole or electrical fire of some kind... We drove over to the area to check the area but no signs of fire or electrical issues in the area…
