On the afternoon of January 10, 2016, I was on my way from my apartment to the store. As I left My apartment, I noticed that there was an almost “aspen” blue sky (unusual for the area) and that that there was not one cloud in the sky anywhere. As I pulled out of my driveway there was the short drive to a stop sign. I live in a rural area adjacent to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. There was no traffic to be seen…also not unusual for my area and sparsely populated. I looked across the highway to an uncultivated, empty field and as I glanced up I could see one cloud that was not moving. It seemed to be cirrus type of cloud only very low in the sky. I believe the cloud was not more than 3000 to 4000 feet in elevation. The bottom portion was thick and the top portion was wispier. There was a section at the top that was empty of any cloud material and blue sky could be seen clearly through it.

I was immediately drawn to this cloud. I exited my car and leaned back on the front never taking my eyes off of the cloud. I have no idea how I knew, but I was fully aware that there was an occupied object of some type seemingly “hiding” in that cloud. I occurred to me that the object, which I could not see, must be giving off some type of electrical energy or radiation. Why else would a person stand in the middle of the street in 30 degree weather with no coat on.

I watched this cloud, I think without blinking, for a good 7-10 minutes. I knew something was going to happen…again, I am not sure how. As if following my wishes, as I was cold and grew impatient for the event I knew was going to come, a silver/grey disk rose up in clear view. Simultaneously, the object took off at a speed I can’t begin to explain. Speed like that would kill a human.. the G-force must have been off the chart. I tracked it with my eyes, but at the speed it was traveling my eyes were not quick enough and for a moment, I lost track. I kept my eyes steady and picked it up again and followed the object down range until it appeared the size of a pinhead. It headed up, punched through the blue sky and seemingly out of the atmosphere. I was so close to this event that I could see the craft was 25-35 feet in diameter. Also, as it rose up and blasted away, it also took the cloud with it. I looked back, stunned out of my mind, and there was nothing w! here the cloud had been.

I never did go to the store. I went straight back to my apartment and felt that I had been jerked from the reality that we all live in to another completely different place. Little did I know that there was more to come.
