2016-01-03 - Walpole Island, ON - Light

One bright light at helicopter height where black triangle showed up last month.

I've been waiting to see if the black triangle would come back that I seen in December 2015. Last night, I looked out the living room window and seen a small white light in about the same spot I seen the orange lights that turned into the big black triangle.

The stars were visible last night. The stars were small, white lights way up in the sky.

The white light that I am talking about and seen last night was not a star. Comparing it to stars, this white light was at helicopter height not very far away from me, just over the street lights a few hundred feet from me, and it was a very bright, white light. It stayed stationary for at least a half hour. My sister seen it too from the house she was in.

It was mostly stationary but it did move up and down very slightly once in a while. I kept going to the window to look at it and it stayed quite a while. I think the object chose a very good lookout spot right on the Sydenham River where it can see a wide area.

I tried to take a picture of it. I'll send it in if it shows up. When I viewed the images on my camera, it wasn't there but maybe if I view the images larger on the computer, it will be visible.
