Two orange lights travel north to south over Hawaii Island on 10-15-15
This siding occurred on the big Island of Hawaii in the month of October 2015.
While on my evening walk in the orchid land subdivision of Puna, in the late evening before midnight, I observed an orange light traveling from north to south over the middle of the Big Island. I live south east of Mauna Kea, and watched the object from when it appeared as a pinpoint over Manua Kea, north of my position. To win it disappeared behind the trees just south of me passing over the active Kilauea Volcano, at its closest point to me it seemed to be about half the size of the moon and bright orange with no discernible shape, or running lights. It was also dead silent. I was stunned. Sound travels really well over the bush at that time of night and this was uncanny. Much to my surprise a second object appeared immediately after following the same course identical and silent, about one minute later. I watched in amazement and still can't believe what I saw.
