Orange oval seen moving south to north 9 witnesses.
At approximately 9:06 last night 9/6/2015, our group of 9 people were looking west over our lake and saw a bright orange/red colored oval moving from south to north.
There was no sound and moved in a straight deliberate line. No sound.
We watched it until we could no longer see it in the north sky. It was not a lantern.
In addition, we saw the same thing on the 4th of July but did not report it.
Our group that night was 7 people.
