Red/Orange flame-like ascending orb offshore Tampa/St. Pete.
Noticed red/orange flame-like flickering orb assending slowly off-shore between Indian Shores and Treasure Island. No discernable flame trailing but climbing at about 1/10th the rate, with no acceleration, of an average Space-Coast rocket launch.
Distant lightning storm off-shore just north of Clearwater Area and was in background of orb.
Orb was watched from Grand Plaza Hotel while sitting on beach. No real idea of true distances between storm, orb and viewing location.
