Driving into Raeford from Southern Pines, looked to our left and over Fort Bragg, we observed 3 pinkish/red lights in triangle formation. They were streaking towards earth for approximately 3 seconds, and abruptly "winked out," i.e. disappeared.
We observed no noise and no smoke. These lights were moving very quickly towards earth.
