Three bright reddish-orange astrix shaped lights entered the sky one at a time on the same path, from the south.
They hovered, then flew north-west straight up into broken cloud cover over the mountains.
Spring peepers were noisy during the event and stopped making any sound for two minutes after the third light disappeared.
