Witnessed a chevron shaped object fly over my backyard, twice in a matter of five minutes.
My husband, brother and myself were sitting outside around a fire in the backyard after dark. Through the trees, I first saw a chevron shaped object that almost blended in with the night sky, but caught my eye because it seemed almost reflective or mimicking the night sky. It had lights outlining the trangular object which looked like very dim, distant stars at first glance. It only stayed put for what may have been about three seconds. The "craft" seemed to be very large and moved slowly at fist towards the north, then sped up until it blended in with the stars. I told my husband and brother to look as soon as I realized it was moving, but only my husband saw it and only for a second before it was moving away too fast for him to turn around and see it better. Then a few minutes later as I was trying to describe what I saw, it came again but on the opposite side of our fire this time. We all saw it. I'm not sure if it was the same one or a s! econd, but it looked the same. However, this time it was accompanied by what sounded like a flock of geese. Coincidence or not, it was almost as if it wanted us to think that's all it was. It even started moving south at a speed that geese would fly for a few seconds and then shot off.
For weeks after this event, my brother terrified us all with strange behavior and rants about aliens and religion. We even took him to the emergency room to make sure he wasn't on drugs. He wasn't.
