Bright blue orb observed making rapid ascenscion, gentle downward arc, lateral move, and rapid descent before disappearing.
Bright blue orb appeared above horizon facing southeast, rapidly ascended, making full stop.
Object then drifted in a downward in a slow arc to the east, came to full stop, paused, then made a lateral move to the west. Object then descended at same speed as ascension.
Upon reaching starting position above the horizon, object then paused, and disappeared.
Overall movement can be described as a reverse “P.”
Size, altitude and distance of object indeterminate.
Note: Area has routine helicopter traffic due to proximity with local hospital.
Behavior was inconsistent with normal observed activity, no noise, engine or otherwise, accompanied sighting.
